Qasim ad-Dawla Abu Said Aq Sunqur al-Hajib (1040-1094) was the Seljuk governor of Aleppo, Syria under Malik Shah. From 1087 to 1094 he was the de facto independent ruler of much of Syria, but Tutush I accused him of treason and had him beheaded in 1094. His son Zengi proceeded to lead the Zengids in the conquest of much of the Middle East in the following decades.
