
April McClain-Delaney (28 May 1964-) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-MD 6) from 3 January 2025, succeeding David Trone. Born in Idaho to a potato-farming family, she worked as a media lawyer in Washington DC before serving as deputy administrator of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration from 2022 to 2023 and in Congress. She was married to 2020 presidential candidate John Delaney, a former congressman.
