Antonios LaHood was the owner of Orchid Inc. in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.
Biography[]
Antonios LaHood was born in Lebanon to a family of Melkites, and he later immigrated to the United States. LaHood settled in New York City, and he opened a flower shop, Orchid Inc., on 30th Street and Second Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. His store was later taken over by the Stracci crime family, and Nina Loggia ran a brothel on the second floor of the flower shop. In August 1945, the store was taken over by Corleone crime family associate Aldo Trapani, who forced LaHood to pay him protection money.
