Antonio Sottosanti (1928-July 2004) was an Italian anarchist.
Biography[]
Antonio Sottosanti was born in Verpogliano, Italy (now Vrhpolje, Slovenia) in 1928 to a family of Sicilian fascists, and his father was killed in the 1930s by Slovenian anti-fascists. After World War II, he served in the French Foreign Legion, and he was also affiliated with the far-right before joining the anarchist movement in 1969. He was suspected of being an infiltrator by the neo-fascists, and he was investigated for a possible role in the Piazza Fontana bombing, although he was later acquitted.
