Antipope Hadrianus V (born 14 April 1230) was the antipope from 29 March 1261 to 3 November 1263.
Biography[]
Born Edward to a lowborn Catholic English family, he was the Bishop of Corfe in Somerset, England. He was set up as an antipope on 29 March 1261 by Emperor Richard of Germany, a fellow Englishman who was elected king of Germany in 1256. On 3 November 1263, his anti-papacy ended.
