Anti-capitalism

Anti-capitalism is the opposition to capitalism and the capitalist system. Anti-capitalism has notably been championed by socialism, which advocates for public or direct ownership of the means of production and the allocation of resources, and fascism, which believed that the state had a role in mediating class relations (therefore opposing laissez-faire liberalism). Opponents of capitalism cite its reliance on "wage slavery" (a person's livelihood depending on wages or a salary) and its creation of class antagonism, and some propose the restoration of the barter system to eliminate the need for a medium of exchange.
