The Anti-Revolutionary Party (ARP) was a radical political party in Sweden that was active from 1850 to 1936. The Anti-Revolutionary Party positioned itself as a party of the left due to its anarcho-liberal views, as it supported deregulation of the economy, the opening of international markets, and religious freedom. However, the party was hesitant to accept immigrants and to protect the rights of minorities, and it supported an aggressive foreign policy. The party was opposed to forming alliances with both the conservative parties (with which it agreed on with foreign policy affairs) and the socialist parties (other left-wing parties) due to its bourgeois and strongly capitalistic nature.
