The Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front (AINDF), formerly the Revolutionary Party for Reunification, is a communist and pro-North Korean political party in South Korea that was founded in 1964. The RPR was immediately cracked down upon by Park Chung-hee's anti-communist dictatorship and its leaders executed, but the AINDF was founded in 1969 as its successor. The party aimed to carry out popular revolution in then-impoverished South Korea, remove the American military from Korea, and hasten the reunification of the country under communist rule. The party was banned by South Korea as a spy group for the Workers' Party of Korea, but it operated clandestinely within the country.
