The Front of the Greek Anticapitalist Left (ANTARSYA) is a radical socialist political party in Greece that was founded in 2009 as an alliance of the Alternative Ecologists, New Left Current, Organization of Communist Internationalists of Greece-Spartacus, Revolutionary Communist Movement of Greece, Socialist Workers' Party of Greece, and independent militants from the Radical Left Front and the United Anti-Capitalist Left. ANTARSYA called for exiting the European Union and dropping the euro currency, defaulting on Greece's debt, the uncompensated nationalization of major industries, a ban on lay-offs, a minimum salary equivalent to 1,400 euros, a reduction of the work week to 35 hours without reduction of wages, the disarmament of the police, full political and social rights for immigrants, and an ecosocialist answer to the ecological crisis.
