Annibale Doria

Annibale Doria (born 1814) was a Two Sicilies army officer during the mid-19th century. He came from a family of southern Italian goatherds in Campania, and he became known for his corruption and laziness, accepting British bribes during the Expedition of the Thousand. He fled from the battlefield at the Battle of the Volturno on 1 October 1860.
