Anne Cox Chambers (1 December 1919 – 31 January 2020) was the United States Ambassador to Belgium from 17 June 1977 to 17 January 1981, succeeding Leonard Firestone and preceding Charles H. Price II.

Anne Cox Chambers was born in Dayton, Ohio on 1 December 1919, the daughter of 1920 Democratic presidential nominee and newspaper publisher James M. Cox. In 1974, upon the death of her brother, she gained a controlling interest in the family company, and she also became chairwoman of Atlanta Newspapers. She served as Ambassador to Belgium from 1977 to 1981 under President Jimmy Carter, a fellow Georgian, and she became the first female bank director in Atlanta when she became the head of Fulton National Bank, as well as the first female member of the Chamber of Commerce. She had a net worth of $16.1 billion by 2014, and she died in 2020 at the age of 100.
