Anna Scott (died 9 November 1975) was an American real estate developer from San Diego, California. In 1975, she sued her secret business partner Philip Green of the Tangiers Corporation due to loan issues with the Tangiers Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. She did well with her lawsuit, and the Mafia was threatened; the court would force Green to turn in his financial books, which would reveal the Mafia's skimming. The Chicago Outfit sent Anthony Spilotro to silence Scott, and he shot her three times in the head in the kitchen of her San Diego home.
