Angie Bonpensiero

Angela "Angie" Bonpensiero (née Belfiore; born 8 December 1956) is an American businesswoman and the widow of Salvatore Bonpensiero. Though initially happily married, her husband's secret status as an informant for the FBI deteriorated their relationship to the point of fighting physically. This was never truly resolved, as Salvatore was murdered by his former friends Tony Soprano, Paulie Gualtieri and Silvio Dante.

Because Bonpensiero was not aware of her husband's informant status, Soprano made sure she was taken care of, but her frivolous spending with Soprano's money angered him, causing Soprano to severely damage her new car and telling her to stop speaking through his wife. Bonpensiero was also unofficially cast out from her friend group of Carmela, Rosalie Aprile, and Gabriella Dante after being spotted handing samples out at a grocery store.

Much later, Bonpensiero asked Soprano for ownership of Cleveland Auto Body, formerly run by her husband and his brother, Edward. She became extremely successful, though was somewhat hampered by being affiliated with the DiMeo crime family; after Soprano forced Phil Leotardo to crash his car during a shakedown, Leotardo was directed to Cleveland Auto Body free of charge. He demanded several replacements that would be on Bonpensiero's own dime, though it was ultimately resolved. Eventually, she bought a brand new Chevrolet Corvette and began a shylocking side-business, becoming much more like a mobster than her former friends.
