The Angels of Death MC is an outlaw motorcycle club that was founded in the United States in 1949. By 2008, the club had 10,000 members in five countries, and it became rivals with The Lost MC, a rival biker gang, due to several trivial disagreements.

The Angels of Death motorcycle club was founded in 1949 in Los Angeles, California as a small club, but it grew in size in response to the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The motorcycle club eventually became a gang, and it recruited several white Americans who saw the Angels of Death as "an oasis of racial and religious purity", as the AOD called themselves on their website.
The AOD would grow to become one of the largest biker gangs in the country, and they began to label themselves as a social club and a lifestyle instead of a gang or a club. By 2008, the AOD reported a total strength of 10,000 members in five regions, namely the United States, Canada, Australia, Scandinavia, and the United Kingdom.
The Angels of Death formed a blood rivalry with The Lost MC as The Lost also grew in power, and the two gangs went to war in New York City and New Jersey in 2008, with The Lost repeatedly ambushing and killing AOD members in the NYC metropolitan area. The AOD trafficked methamphetamines, marijuana, cocaine, and other drugs, making them powerful, but The Lost was able to constantly fight back against the powerful club.
