Angelo Perroni was born in New York City, New York in 1906 to a family of Italian descent, and he became the owner of the St. Alban's Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. Perroni became an associate of the Stracci crime family, paying them for protection, but Corleone crime family associate Aldo Trapani took over the hotel from the Straccis in August 1945.
