Angelo Hannig was a German Heer Unteroffizier who was stationed on the Nazi secret island base of Geheimhaven in the Aegean Sea during the 1930s. In 1936, he participated in the boarding of the Bantu Wind and the recovery of the Ark of the Covenant for Nazi Germany.
