Angel Eyes (1821 - 1862) was an American bounty hunter of the Wild West. He was known to always finish a job that he was paid for, and he was known to be a ruthless and sociopathic murderer.

Early life[]
"Angel Eyes" was an American mercenary from the American Southwest who was active during the American Civil War; he was nicknamed "Angel Eyes" for his gaunt appearance and for his expert marksmanship.
The Bad[]
In 1862, Oliver Baker paid him $500 to interrogate Alejandro Stevens about the assumed identity of the Confederate soldier, Jackson (who had discovered a stash of $200,000 in Confederate gold at a grave), learning that Jackson was using the assumed name "Bill Carson". Angel Eyes proceeded to kill Stevens and his teenage son, but not before Stevens paid him $1,000 to kill Baker; Angel Eyes returned to Baker for his fee, and then shot Baker, fulfilling his contract for Stevens and others.
He later decided to seek out the gold, disguising himself as a Union sergeant and torturing a captured outlaw, Tuco Ramirez, into giving up the gold's location. He formed a fleeting partnership with the Man with No Name to find the gold, but Ramirez and the Man turned on Angel Eyes when they had the chance, killing his men as they tried to hunt down Tuco. Later, Angel Eyes himself ambushed the two men as they attempted to dig up Arch Stanton's gravesite at the Sad Hill Cemetery, and that he watched as they dug up nothing.
Death[]
The Man revealed that he had lied about the grave's name, and he wrote the correct name on a rock and left it upside-down in the center of the graveyard, challenging Angel Eyes and Tuco to a three-way duel to resolve the dispute. The Man shot and killed Angel Eyes as Tuco - whose gun had been unloaded by the Man the night before - haplessly attempted to fire his gun. The Man would then take his share of the gold and depart, leaving Tuco tied up on top of his share.
