Andrey Morozov (17 August 1979-21 February 2024) was a Russian milblogger and war correspondent. Born in Moscow, he became the leader of the "Red Blitzkrieg" Stalinist group and was imprisoned from 2008 to 2009 for hooliganism, illegal possession of weapons, and calls for extremism, having taken part in attacks on the United Russia office and Polish embassy in Moscow in 2007. Morozov went on to join the pro-Russian separatists in the Donbass War, fighting at the Battle of Debaltseve in 2015 and becoming a member of the Coordination Center for Assistance to Novorossiya. Morozov served in the Russian Army's 4th Motorized Rifle Brigade and the Luhansk People's Republic's Prizrak Brigade, and he came to run a Telegram war blog under the pseudonym "Murz". On 18 February 2024, he reported that Russia had lost over 16,000 men and 300 vehicles at the Battle of Avdiivka; two days later, Vladimir Solovyov forced him to delete the post. The next day, he posted a suicide note blaming Solovyov and took his own life.
