
Andrey Nikolayevich Mordvichev (14 January 1976-present) is a Russian Ground Forces Lieutenant-General who commands the Central Military District of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Biography[]
Andrey Nikolayevich Mordvichev was born in the Soviet Union in 1976, and he rose in the ranks of the Russian Army, becoming a colonel in 2011 and taking command of the 4th Guards Tank Division. He was promoted to Major-General in 2013 and took command of a motorized rifle brigade in 2017, and he became chief of staff and first deputy commander of the 41st Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District. In 2021, he became deputy commander of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army.
