Andrew McCord (1754-1808) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-NY 5) from 1803 to 1805, succeeding Theodorus Bailey and preceding John Blake Jr..
Biography[]
Andrew McCord was born in Stony Ford, Orange County, New York in 1754, the son of an Irish immigrant father, and he served as a captain of the Ulster County militia during the American Revolutionary War. He went on to serve in the State Assembly from 1795 to 1796, in 1800, in 1802, and from 1806 to 1807, and in the US House of Representatives from 1803 to 1805. McCord died in 1808.
