Andrew Jackson Rogers (1 July 1828 – 22 May 1900) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-NJ 4) from 4 March 1863 to 3 March 1867, succeeding George T. Cobb and preceding John Hill.

Biography[]

Andrew Jackson Rogers was born in Hamburg, Sussex County, New Jersey in 1828, and he became a lawyer in Lafayette Township before moving to Newton in 1857. He went on to serve in the US House of Representatives from 1863 to 1867 as a Democrat, and he moved to New York City and became a litigation counsel. He moved to Denver, Colorado in 1892 and served as police commissioner, and he returned to New York in 1896 and died in 1900.
