
Andrew Harrison Ward (3 January 1815 – 16 April 1904) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-KY 6) from 3 December 1866 to 3 March 1867, succeeding Green Clay Smith and preceding Thomas Laurens Jones.
Biography[]
Andrew Harrison Ward was born in Cynthiana, Harrison County, Kentucky in 1815, and he became a lawyer in 1844. He was originally a Whig before joining the Democratic Party, and he served as city attorney in 1860 and in the State House from 1863 to 1865 before serving in the US House of Representatives from 1866 to 1867. He later served as a bank president, and he died in 1904.
