Andrew Grant Chapman (17 January 1839-25 September 1892) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-MD 5) from 4 March 1881 to 3 March 1883, succeeding Eli Jones Henkle and preceding Hart Benton Holton.
Biography[]
Andrew Grant Chapman was born in La Plata, Maryland in 1839, and he practiced law in Baltimore and Port Tobacco before serving in the House of Delegates from 1867 to 1868, in 1870, in 1872, in 1879, and in 1885; in the US House of Representatives from 1881 to 1883, and as an internal revenue collector from 1885 to 1888. He died in 1892.
