Andrew Ellison (1812-1860) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-OH 6) from 4 March 1853 to 3 March 1855, succeeding Frederick W. Green and preceding Jonas R. Emrie. Born in West Union, he practiced law in Georgetown before serving as Brown County prosecutor from 1840 to 1843, in the state house in 1846, and in Congress.
