
Andrew Beaumont (24 January 1790-30 September 1853) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-PA 15) from 4 March 1833 to 3 March 1837, succeeding Thomas McKean Thompson McKennan and preceding David Petrikin. Born in Lebanon, Connecticut, he settled in Pennsylvania in 1808 and served in the state house fin 1821, 1822, and 1826, as postmaster of Wilkes-Barre from 1826 to 1832, in Congress, as Commissioner of Public Buildings from 1846 to 1847, and in the state house in 1849.
