Andres Garcia was a Colombian drug lord and the boss of the Nuevo Grupo cartel of Molino during the 1980s. On 17 November 1990, his turf was taken over by Felix Vijo's Hermanos Carnales cartel, and he accepted Garcia's offer to join his organization as a lieutenant, recognizing that Garcia's men fought like warriors and would make useful additions to his organization.
