
Andrei Vladimirovich Kobyakov (born 21 November 1960) was Prime Minister of Belarus from 27 December 2014 to 18 August 2018, succeeding Mikhail Myasnikovich and preceding Syarhey Rumas.
Biography[]
Andrei Vladimirovich Kobyakov was born in Moscow, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union on 21 November 1960, and he graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute in 1983 before becoming a deputy factory chief, economist, and politician. He became involved in the politics of independent Belarus, and he became Deputy Prime Minister in 2001, also serving as Economy Minister from 2002 to 2003. In 2014, Kobyakov became Prime Minister, serving as an independent.
