Andrea Serri was an Italian People of Freedom politician who served on the Rome City Council during the 2000s. In February 2008, he and Maurizio Gramini got into an argument with the outgoing Democratic Party councillor Amedeo Cinaglia after a bitter Cinaglia passive-aggressively accused his two conservative colleagues of hurrying to get their business through now that Mayor Walter Veltroni was resigning, and of a lack of interest in politics. Serri reminded Cinaglia that they were also councillors who were elected by the people, and, when he asked what was with Cinaglia's tone, Cinaglia turned and left without a word.
