Anderson Nez

Anderson Nez (died June 2008) was a Navajo sheepherder from Arizona. In 2008, the plague-stricken Nez was murdered by Doctor Albert Woody to allow for Woody to continue researching the plague without having to care for his patients.

Biography[]

Anderson Nez was born on the Navajo Nation reservation in Arizona, and he worked as a sheepherder and as an assistant to Dr. Albert Woody. In June 2008, he was bitten by a plague-infected flea, and he died in the Northern Arizona Medical Center a day later. His death was unusually quick, and it was later discovered that Woody had killed Nez in order to continue studying the plague without having to care for his patients.
