Amulius Julius

Amulius Julius (283 BC-255 BC) was a general and politician of the Roman Republic from the House of Julii.

Biography[]

Amulius Julius was born in 283 BC in Ariminum, Roman Republic (present-day Rimini, Italy) to the House of Julii. His father was Quintus Julius, and his grandfather was Flavius Julius, the leader of the Julii. Amulius Julius came of age in 267 BC after turning 16, and he became a Roman statesman. In 255 BC, he conquered Iuvavum in Noricum for the republic, but he gave his life in the process; he was killed in the twilight hours of the battle.
