Amru el-Akhter (died 29 July 2024) was an Islamic State militant who fought in the Syrian Civil War. While he was among the thousands of ISIL militants captured by the Syrian Democratic Forces during ISIL's last days in 2016-2019, he and several other jihadists participated in a prison riot in Hasakah Governorate in 2024, only to be killed when SDF special forces recaptured the prison building and killed the armed rioters.
