Amos Lane (1 March 1778-2 September 1849) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-IN 4) from 4 March 1833 to 3 March 1837, preceding George Hedford Dunn. Born in Aurora, New York, he practiced law in Ogdensburg and later in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and Burlington, Kentucky. He served in the Indiana state house from 1816 to 1822, in Congress from 1833 to 1837, and later in the state house from 1839 to 1840.
