Ammiras Rogers was an American soldier who served in the Continental Army's 2nd Virginia Regiment during the American Revolutionary War. In February 1780, he and his regiment camped out at Hanover Tavern in Virginia before making their way south to Charleston, South Carolina, where they were captured by the British at the Siege of Charleston.
