The Amir Faction was a reactionary political faction in Algeria that was active from 1836 to 1847. The faction supported the restoration of the Amir of Algeria to power, as well as the expulsion of France from North Africa. The Amir Faction advocated for the restoration of a strong, absolute monarchy to power, and it was allies with the Bey Faction of Algeria.
