The American Delta Party is a centrist political party in the United States that was founded by Rocky de la Fuente on 12 June 2016. De la Fuente was defeated in the US Democratic Party primaries earlier that year, and he decided to form his own party for which he and his vice-presidential nominee Michael Steinberg could campaign. The party supported a path to open citizenship for immigrants and opposed Donald Trump's plan to build a wall on the border with Mexico, and the party was effectively an alternative liberal party which anti-Hillary Clinton liberals could rally behind. De la Fuente won .02% of the popular vote, and, by 2017, it had 731 members (in Delaware).
