The American Civil War Museum at Appomattox is a museum in Appomattox, Appomattox County, Virginia, dedicated to the American Civil War. The museum opened in 2012 and tells the stories of the closing days of the Civil War, and features, among other exhibited items, the battle flags of the 11th and 24th Virginia Infantry Regiments (paired together for the first time in over 150 years), Robert E. Lee's uniform and death mask, and the tattered uniform of the slain Confederate general Patrick Cleburne.
