Amcazade Koprulu Huseyin Pasha (1660-1702) was Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire from 1697 until his death. He was a harsh ruler who was an intolerant follower of Islam, serving under Sultan Mustafa II of Turkey.
Biography[]
The nephew (Amcazade) of Koprulu Huseyin Pasha ("Amcazade Koprulu Huseyin Pasha), Koprulu was born to an Albanian noble family of the Ottoman Empire. He was concerned with the needs of common people as well as military tactics, but he had poor negotiating skills and was responsible for decreasing dipolmatic relations with other countries. From 1697 to 1700 he was Grand Vizier, but he was replaced by Celebi Sadik. He died two years later.
