Ambrosio de Acuna (1682 - April 1717) was a captain of the Spanish Navy who served as commander of Santa Isabel, a powerful galleon that was stationed on Cuba in the Caribbean Sea. In April 1717, pirate captain Edward Kenway and the crew of his ship, the Jackdaw, assaulted Santa Isabel off Guantanamo Bay and boarded it, and Acuna was killed in the ensuing fight with the pirates.
