Ambrose Adames (1052-1072) was a Brugian rebel general. He had no skills at all, and was a terrible commander; his rebellion against the Duchy of Normandy was easily defeated and he was killed.
Biography[]
Adames was based out of Bruges, leading an army of French Rebels against the Duchy of Normandy. Adames had no command skills, piety, chivalry, or loyalty, and his siege of Caen in 1070 was lifted without bloodshed. In 1072, his army was pursued to the shoreline by Prince Rufus's Norman army and Adames was killed in the battle that ensued.
