Amboy Avenue is a road in Perth Amboy, Middlesex County, New Jersey. The road stretches from New Brunswick Avenue in the south to the intersection with Convery Boulevard (New Jersey Route 35) in the north, after which it becomes St. George Avenue upon reaching Woodbridge Township. It is named for the Native American name for the area, "Ompoge" (translated to "Amboy") by the Europeans.
