Amaru Rodrígez Merino (1949-1984) was a Cuban-American criminal who was affiliated with the Diaz Brothers drug cartel of Miami, Florida during the 1980s. In 1984, he and several other Diaz henchmen were sent to attack Tony Montana's businesses in Little Havana as he made collections from his drug fronts, only for Montana to come to his fronts' rescue and kill the attackers.
