Amanda Carpenter

Amanda Carpenter (20 November 1982-) was an American author, advisor, and Republican political speechwriter.

Biography[]

Amanda Carpenter was born in Montrose, Michigan in 1982, and she worked as a congressional correspondent for Human Events from 2005 to 2007 and then as national political reporter for Townhall.com. In 2009, she became a columnist for The Washington Times, and, in 2010, she left the paper to serve as US Senator Jim DeMint's senior communications advisor and speechwriter. In 2015, she returned to her journalism career, and she became a contributor for CNN. She often criticized Donald Trump, especially his treatment of women.
