Alvaro Espinar (1985-2008) was a Spanish Lords gang member and drug trafficker.
Biography[]
Alvaro Espinar was born in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1985 to a family of immigrants from Puerto Rico, and he became involved with the Spanish Lords gang at a young age. Espinar became a drug trafficker, moving marijuana across northern New Jersey in a car. Espinar and one enforcer made deliveries in their car, and Armando Torres discovered that they were moving some product one night in 2008. Luis Fernando Lopez, Torres, and Henrique Bardas ambushed them as they drove through Weehawken, killing the two of them. Lopez then took the car to Mr. Fuk's Rice Box in Koreatown, where he sold it to his own drug dealer.
