Alvaro D'Alvade (1958–17 March 2004) was an Italian operatic singer, known for his strong tenor. Considered one of the world's greatest singers, D'Alvade is also known for his short temper and low opinion of fellow cast members. Secretly, D'Alvade was a pedophile, and ran a child prostitution ring alongside his friend Richard Delahunt, the American ambassador to the Vatican. Though D'Alvade was arrested for the rape of a 13-year-old girl, D'Alvade was acquitted after the girl refused to testify; she was later found dead, though ruled a suicide.
D'Alvade was killed during a stage production of Tosca when a prop Mauser C96 was exchanged for a real one. This was done by Agent 47 of the ICA, who was contracted to kill both D'Alvade and Delahunt. However, 47 was hunted down by D'Alvade's friend and the Paris chief of police, Inspector Albert Fournier, though 47 managed to kill Fournier and escape from Paris after nursing his gunshot wound.
