Alternative for Sweden (AfS) is a right-wing populist political party in Sweden that was founded on 13 December 2017 by Gustav Kasselstrand. The party was founded by members of the Sweden Democrats' youth wing who had been expelled for their links to neo-Nazi groups, from which the Sweden Democrats sought to distance themselves. The party advocated repatriation of immigrants, non-interventionism, Euroscepticism, a flat tax system, opposition to NATO, and improved animal rights.
