Alphonso Hart (4 July 1830-23 December 1910) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-OH 12) from 4 March 1883 to 3 March 1885, succeeding George L. Converse and preceding Albert C. Thompson. Born in Vienna Township, he studied law in Warren before practicing law in New Lisbon, becoming a Democratic newspaperman in Ravenna, serving as Portage County prosecuting attorney from 1861 to 1864, serving in the state senate, serving as Lieutenant Governor of Ohio from 1874 to 1876, and serving in Congress.
