The Alliance for the Republic-Yakaar (APR) is a liberal political party in Senegal that was founded on 1 December 2008. The party was founded by former Senegalese Democratic Party politician Macky Sall, and the party became the dominant partner in the United in Hope Coalition, which held a large majority in the National Assembly during the 2010s (holding 125/150 National Assembly seats in 2018).
