The Alliance for Democracy in Mali (ADEMA-PASJ) is a social democratic political party in Mali that was founded in 1990 by a coalition of parties opposed to dictator Moussa Traore. From 1992 to 2002, ADEMA-PASJ leader Alpha Oumar Konare served as President of Mali, and Ibrahim Boubacar Keita left the party in 2000 to form the Rally for Mali party. In 2013, the party supported Keita during the elections, and it held 20/160 National Assembly seats in mid-2017.
