Allentown is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey. It was incorporated on 29 January 1889 from portions of Upper Freehold Township, and it was named for William Allen, who served as Chief Justice of Pennsylvania. In 2016, Allentown had a population of 1,810 people.
