The All-National Congress of the Chechen People (OKChN) was a political party in the Chechen-Ingush ASSR which existed from 8 June to 2 November 1991. It was founded by Dzokhar Dudayev, who supported Chechen separatism during the Dissolution of the Soviet Union, and it supported the creation of an independent country of "Ichkeria". On 7 September 1991, the All-National Congress of the Chechen People seized power in Chechnya in a violent coup, and its supporters defenestrated Grozny communist leader Vitali Kutsenko. On 27 October 1991, Dudayev became President of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, which split from the Russian SFSR, and the OKChN dissolved on 2 November.
